Teilung. Dehnung. UmkrempelungI cut the world in half. I dilate it. I turn it inside out like a sock.I cut a solid hardened steel sphere into halves. I opened the space within the material. I opened the material to the surrounding space. With this openness many ideas came to my mind. The surrounding space seemed fluid and less static. I used this opportunity to dilate, bend and turn space inside out. At a later stage I embedded both halves into two opposing walls on an exact axis. Embedding the round side first only the cutting face was visible. In this ‚dilated‘ condition of space, the visitor had the chance to enter inside the material while entering the room.
